The driver is assisted with a very innovative auto-park assist which takes convenience on a different level altogether. The system uses the sensors and camera to detect a parking space and then steer the SUV automatically into the spot without any manual input. In addition, a 360-degree rear camera, blind-spot detection, and both front and rear parking sensors make sure that driving and parking in tight spots no longer remain an uphill task for you. Other safety features include speed warning alert, speed sensing auto door lock, a 3-point seat belt for all passengers, and Isofix child seat anchorage among others. 

Engine and Transmission 

MG Gloster comes powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that is available in two states of tune – (163PS/375Nm) 2.0L turbo and (218PS/480Nm) 2.0L twin-turbo. While the former is available in 2WD configuration, the latter is the de facto choice that you get in the all-terrain 4WD version. Both versions, however, use an 8-speed automatic transmission to channelize the power to wheels and for added convenience, the Gloster has got the feature of paddle shifters. The suspension of the SUV is specifically designed keeping in mind the stringent requirements of off-roading. This explains the use of dual-helix independent suspension and five-link integral suspension at the front and rear of Gloster respectively. 

Luxury and Comfort

Step inside the MG Gloster and you will be surprised by the ultimate level of luxury this SUV has on offer. Unlike other off-road performers, Gloster cocoons occupants in a plush, upmarket, and luxurious cabin that this segment has never seen before.

It has got both Apple and Android capabilities and lets you perform a variety of tasks in a completely hands-free manner. The 12-speaker system includes sub-woofer and amplifier and the sound emanating from it is a real treat for audiophiles. 

The driver seat is 12-way electrically adjustable and features the memory and massage function. The passenger seat also gets electric adjust (8-way) besides featuring a heating function. The second row can be had either in the captain seat or bench seat arrangement while the third row features a bench with 60:40 split, flat fold, and recline configuration. 

You get a 3-zone automatic climate control on MG Gloster and the HVAC system comes with an added feature of a PM 2.5 filter. Also, there are separate AC vents for the second and third row of passengers which is really well-suited for hot climes like ours. Some of the other significant features include an 8-inch instrument cluster, sound-absorbing windscreen, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with heating function, and IRVM with auto-dimming function.
