One The Best Car In This Segment
In terms of looks, the car is top-notch. Performance is outstanding, and maintenance is also good. There are plenty of color options available, making it the best city car for regular usage.

So Nice Amaze Car And I Purchased
I am driving the new (2018 model) of Honda amaze (V) diesel and it is as its name suggest, ''Amazing". Size (9/10): New amaze, unlike its predecessor doesn't look like the brio. the car has grown in all dimensions (especially the wheelbase). The longer and taller bonnet gives it a look of a proper sedan. The roofline extends far back which allow the rear passenger a good view of outside. Though the tail is still quite stubby, the new tail lamp gives it a new character. space (9.5/10): Back seat space was always a honda amaze hallmark and it has gone better in the new amaze. It seems as if they have pushed the back seat behind towards the boot because the legroom is quite enough for the back passengers. Headroom is slightly okay in terms of a sedan. They have managed to put cup & bottle holders for the rear passengers. Thigh support is also great. One rare negative is the headrest which is fixed. The boot space is 420 L which I guess is best in the segment. Interiors (8.5/10) The most pleasant surprise for me was the front row. Honda has done great to make it look very premium just like honda city. The piano black finish on the dashboard looks beautiful. The plastic is of very good quality. The dual tone color scheme of black & beige feels premium. Air conditioner control switches look good as well. Overall the quality standard has been maintained by Honda. Functionality (9/10): The car is loaded with things like apple car play, android play, and navigation. there is a rear parking camera sensor also available, keyless entry and power start button as well. Performance (8.5/10): You might feel that the power is lesser than the manual version but I am okay with that as far as it is smoother in traffic as well as on highways and it has done justice with both. The car doesn't lag anywhere. The little frustrating part is the engine noise while hard acceleration which is very rare in Honda cars. The lag can be controlled in sports mode but it locks the rpm so more noise will be there. one more con is that diesel automatic doesn't get the pedal shift gears. It is great for relaxed driving. My car doesn't come with cruise control which is available in other variants. Fuel economy is amazing ( around 15-17 KMPL) which is great for automatic.

Diesel V CVT Pros And Cons
It's been more than 2 years now. Pros: - The mileage is decent 22kmpl on the highway and 17kmpl on the city roads. Stylish look, comfortable seat, no issues. Cons: - Hard steering, no rear ac vents, vibrations inside the cabin, no cruise control on a diesel automatic. Very limited colors.

Choose Wisely after checking A Few Other Amaze
I own Honda Amaze 2018 diesel V variant. (Just below the full option) Odometer: 30,000 This review is done after checking a few other Amaze with different odometer readings. And other cars. Cons: * Highly tight steering, which is worse than nonpower steering cars. * Poor suspension, the suspension is so soft that the moment someone enters the car the ground clearance reduces to almost 50%, and the more passengers it carries the worse. * Because of the above point, a small speed bump is going to scratch your car's underbody. This car is clearly not made. for Indian roads. *The steering adjustment is a gimmick as when you adjust the tilt, already tight steering becomes tighter. * Steering music controls and cruise switches look like cheap plastic makes noises when u click. *AC control switches are of poor quality, and the nose gets loose easily. *The interior doesn't look that good, compared to other competitions in this price range. (Check Toyota glanza / suzuki baleno interiors) * Three average-sized people cannot sit comfortably in the rear seats. No matter what they claim. So This makes this car a 4 seater, including the driver. * Too many vibrations, it's easy to name the places where it doesn't make vibrations and noises. *Once you go past 100-120kmph it feels like a roller coaster with extreme vibrations and noises. *The meter shows 180, but speed is maxed at 140, and driving that top speed is a nightmare with all these vibrations and noises. * Stiff clutch * Thigh support in the seat is poor. * Break disk is soo thin that if small dirt gets stuck in the brake pad will scratch the disk and will cause heavy vibrations when you apply break, and because of the thin disk polishing is not an option, you have to replace it and it doesn't come under warranty. * Closing the door without completely raising the glass makes a huge noise of the glass hitting the door. * Thick mirror, which makes open and closed state looks similar. The center part of the car with gear, and charger gets loose, no matter how many times you tighten it. * No color options in interior..it only comes in beige, which gets dirty easily, and you will be forced to put on seat covers. * The spare tire is of different sizes. * Honda service is mostly poor, you would have to be extremely lucky to find a good service center. Pros: (not going to explain, as almost all the ads highlight these) * Good mileage. * Good acceleration * AC is good * Big boot space * Wide legroom * Good sound systems, even with the base variant. * Even the base variant comes with basic good features.
