The updated sedan gets some cosmetic upgrades and added features

  • The upcoming Honda Amaze will continue to be available in E, S, V and VX trims, for both petrol and diesel engines.

  • The top-end V and VX with both the powertrains will continue with the option of a CVT, while only the S petrol variant will get a CVT.

  • The Amaze will get some refreshments to the front and side profile, while the cabin will largely remain unchanged.

  • It will continue with its 90PS 1.2-litre petrol and 100PS/80PS 1.5-litre diesel engines, both paired to 5-speed MT and CVT.

The facelifted Honda Amaze is all set to be launched on August 18. Its bookings have already commenced and now, we have the powertrain-wise variant list of the sedan.

The Amaze will be available in four trims as earlier - E, S, V and VX - for both the petrol and diesel engines. The top-end V and VX trims will get the option of a 5-speed manual and a CVT with both the powertrains. This time, though, the S Diesel variant will lose out on the CVT option.

The facelifted Amaze will gain a tweaked front bumper, new LED headlamps, DRLs, and fog lamps, a redesigned chrome-plated front grille, chrome door handles and the fourth-gen City’s alloy wheels. The cabin largely remains unchanged save for the silver applique additions across the cabin and a new gear lever covering.

It will continue to feature a height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, cruise control (MT only), and paddle shifters (CVT only). Safety will be covered by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, and a rear parking camera.

The Amaze will continue with its existing 90PS 1.2-litre petrol and 100PS (MT)/80PS (CVT) 1.5-litre diesel engines, both paired to 5-speed manual and CVT.

The facelifted Amaze will command a small premium over the current range of Rs 6.32 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It rivals the Hyundai AuraMaruti Suzuki DzireTata Tigor and Ford Aspire.
