In the initial year of its launch about 61,200 units the Swift model were sold in India, which was much higher then the target company had aimed for it of 50,000 units. The Maruti Suzuki Swift parade for entering the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS had an excellent start but the organisation of the event was screwed up big time... there was no one to look after the cars which were moving on the grass instead of the road during the parade!!!..towards the end the whole crew for the event had vanished and there was no one to even regulate all the vehicles to the gate!!!... the event was completely bungled .. the event was hyped so much and the ending was nasty!!!...If the organizing crew had done their job properly all the cars could have moved out of the spot within half an hour but it took more than 3 hours!!!... I personally feel that they completely lack ethics because they left us stranded once their own job was done and for this reason I suggest each and every Maruti Suzuki owner not to attend any of the events organized by Maruti Suzuki because you are sure to get humiliated as we were... and I also request Maruti Suzuki not to organize any such event unless you change your attitude and of course your strategy....
