CarDekho has been constantly updating you on the Nissan's version of Renault Duster, which will be the last product from Nissan-Renault cross badging. Now a latest report published on Autocar India's website claims that the cross-badged version of Duster, will be called Nissan Terrano. The Terrano will also cost about Rs 50,000-75,000 more than the Renault Duster.
If we look at Scala and Pluse, rebadged version of Sunny and Micra, there are no major changes. Scala, however received some good exterior changes, making it look refreshed. But if you look at the Nissan Terrano, this surely impresses with its exterior styling, the car has managed to look different than the Duster. Nissan Terrano will also have the sheet metal changes, so to make it look like other Nissan SUVs.
Front fascia of the car has received many changes including the revamped bumpers, honeycomb design, new headlights and a big Nissan badge, helping it look different and aggressive. Rear too has received some changes in an effort to make it look different, however it resembles so much similar to that of the Duster. The changes at the rear include revised tail lamp and in fact the rear plate that had Duster inscription has now been changed. There might not be any interior changes, as if any changes are made, the product might go even more expensive.
The company hasn't said anything about the launch time of the car, we are expecting it to launch during Indian festive season.
