The concept of ‘free energy’ devices is claimed to be a myth by many and as they say it is next to impossible to create power out of nothing. These claims can very well be a reason to maintain the usage of oil but there is one source available in abundance that can be easily exploited and put to use as a propellant in modern day vehicles and that is the compressed air. This brilliant idea is not a new one but it has been put to use around a century back in the mining industry, the reason for the discontinuation is unknown. The Indian auto giant Tata Motors is known for the creativity in their products, the Tata Nano is the living example of its creative bent. Bringing out the world’s cheapest car was a total out of the box thinking and now this car maker is again back with the small Emo V which is a compressed air car by Tata Motors.

Tata Motors Air Car is a total innovative product that has a top speed of 80 km/h or 50 mph and a maximum range of 140 km or 80 miles. These figures are way too good for a full fledged eco-friendly car that can be fueled absolutely free of cost in most countries as there are service stations that extend compressed air for free. This step from Tata Motors is a very significant one from the perspective of future which might face a dearth of non-renewable sources of energy. The compressed air car is sure to lure the non-supporters of Electric Vehicles, nature lovers, and other environmentalists with its effective green engineering that is in perfect accord with our planet.
