Tata Motors, one of the leading and the most reputed car maker of the country has reportedly called in the engineers from Britain working for Jaguar and Land Rover to investigate and work on Tata Nano. The car is the cheapest car not only in the country but in the world.
Towards the beginning of the year 2010, three cases were registered all claiming fire caught by the car. Although there were luckily no casualties but the incidents had put a solid mark on the company's reputation in the global automotive market.
It is reported that Tata Motors has especially called for a team of engineers working for Jaguar and Land Rover to work on the faults. The engineers would especially focus on detecting the triggers that led to these incidents.
It sees the auto maker has taken the issue very seriously and is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that a detailed investigation with fruitful results is carried out. These team of experts are drawn from across the company and it seems that the team of engineers would also be involved in developing the Nano Europa which would debut in Europe next year.
