Tata Motors the Indian car brand has launched today (06 January, 2010) its all new multi purpose diesel powertrain, Tata Venture in Rajasthan. The all new MPV is launched with a price tag of Rs 4.05 lakh to Rs 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Jaipur).
S Saxena, Tata Motor's head, Marketing and Sales said that the Indian auto company has initially launched the car in Rajasthan and will be later introduced in other states across nation. This unique utility vehicle is based on the compact car but interior of the car is like a utility vehicle, spacious and comfortable.

He also added that the auto company has taken special measures keeping in mind the luxury and various safety measures in the new car. He said Tata Venture is the safest wagon among the available vans in the domestic auto sector. Features such as collapsible steering wheel and side impact beams protect occupants when required.

Saxena concluded that the new van is a competitively priced car and buyer friendly. The company is also expecting success in the Rajasthan auto market.
The Tata Venture is affixed with power steering wheel and power windows, keyless entry, reverse parking aid along with engine immobiliser and the rear wipers too. The car will come in five, seven and eight seator options divided in three row front facing configuration. The new car will come in five bright colour options to choose from.

The new car Tata Venture is a family car and can accommodate eight passenger easily. The van is loaded with 1.4 litre turbo diesel powertrain which is capable of rendering 71 ps of maximum power that offers excellent fuel efficiency among the ones available in the domestic auto market. The new MPV offers a mileage of 15.42 kmpl, certified by ARAI.
