I have a white Diesel RENAULT- DUSTER, 4 years old and has done about 40000 km on road. My review of the car: The body - exterior: Nice wide body with a nice height to keep the scooters, 3 wheelers, and the small cars at arm's length. The exterior paint has lasted well and the shine is still there. Suspension- Nice soft suspension and has borne the rough and potholed roads of Gurgaon well. Interior - Adequately spacious interior with good headroom and legroom. The rear boot space is what I love. It can accommodate 4 medium sizes 25? suitcases in standing position with space to spare on top after removing the back shelf. However, the interior look is very plasticky and could be improved. The dashboard with the meters are average. The a/c is effective but the rounded vents are quite ordinary. The dashboard plastic body could also be improved. The side door handles are a big no-no made of creaking plastic. All said the interiors are not that great. Engine: The Diesel engine of RENAULT is the greatest plus point of the car. A little sluggish on pickup upto 10-12 km but once the turbo picks up, it can outrace any other premium car, In 4 years of driving, I've had no problems with the engine, gears, brakes, except the normal once a year servicing. Mileage: City driving:12-13 kmph, on-highway, and long-distance:17-18 kmph Driveability and comfort - good driveability with a good driver's view and comfortable ride. Service and customer care: very good. Car pickup and drop available. The average servicing cost is Rs. 6000 - 8000 per annum. depending on the work done. Good customer relations and care. All said and done, a good value for money diesel car which will not fail you.
