Ford sales grows 35% in Feb 2009

US based one of the largest car manufacturer Ford Motors has registered a growth of 35% in the month of Feburary this year compare January of the same yearin India. According to Company the company sold 2,636 cars in the month ofFebruary compared to 1,956 units in January 2009. On year on year basis company registered a growth of 8% compare to same period of the Last year.

The New Ford Ikon was the most popular car in this period and sales of Ford Ikon contributed very much in the increas of the sales figure of the Ford Ikon.
According to Timothy Tucker, Vice-President, Ford India-Sales,the company is commited to produce the products which provide best value to its customers for their money. According to him the company entered into year 2008 with the launch of new model of Endeavour and models like Ford Ikon and Ford fiesta also obtaining good sales.
