Maruti Sales increased by more then 15% in April 2009

Maruti Suzuki India's largest car manufacturer and Second largest car exporter has registered a growth of 15% in the month of April 2009 compare to same period of last year. Company sold 71,748 units sold in April as compared to 62,336 units in the same period of last year. This is the fourth consecutive year in which company sales crossed a mark of 70,000. However the sales of Maruti 800 model declined by 47% this month compare to same period of the last year. Total domestic sales surged nine per cent with 64,857 units of sale as against 59,539 units in the same period a year before.
