Maruti Swift sales crosses 3 lakh mark in India

Leading car manufacturer in India Maruti has sold 3 lakh units of Maruti Swift in India. And company is now setting up a online chain Swift line for its Maruti Swift users. According to company the Maruti Swift is fastest selling model in Maruti's portfolio.
Maruti launched petrol version in 2005 and since than company sold 3 lakh units of it. The first lakh units of Maruti Swift sold in 21 months while second one lakh sold in 13 months. The last one lakh was the fastest in all three and company sold third lakh of them in just 11 months. Company launched diesel verson in 2007.
