- Pulse packs a punch in performance as well as interiorsThe Renault pulse,Nissan Micra's lookalike sports front sporty grills and headlamps. The car looks great with new fresh interiors. It is also equipped with climate control which is a rare feature in this price tag.The car has a crash test rating of 4.5 stars and also has a driver seat airbag. One missing thing in the safety front is Anti-lock braking system. The car has some features that you can't even think of in this price tag are the Anti-pinch windows, rear windshield de-fogger and wipers. The climate controlled AC is quite powerful and cools the cabin in few seconds. As far is performance is concerned this sporty machine pours pure thrust with even a slight press on the throttle.Gear shifts are smooth ,although the clutch pedal felt stiff. The steering feels very light and you can handle the car easily in any traffic. The turning radius is also good and you can easily steer the car through a U turn. Overall the car is is a perfect 5-seater family hatchback with a 1197 CC engine that gives 76 PS of power .The car has ample boot space that is enough to pack stuff for a weekend trip.Leg room and head room felt comfortable for even a 6'2" guy like me .If you are planning for a new hatchback ,go for it .This car performs in highways and cities alike.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Better Than All The Hatch's AroundI was in confusion, like all others, when buying my first car. I went to almost all car showrooms in search of that perfect one. One car had less legroom while the other had less power and some other with fewer features. Then I stepped into Renault showroom, I didn't know much about the company except for Duster. I never knew they had a hatchback too which resembled Micra. I looked at all the features it offered, the push button start, the automatic ORVM's, the whopping 1.5L diesel Engine, no other car, as far as I know, were offering these features at that time (2013), all that in a small package. It has been 3 years now and nearly 40K Km done and I have still not faced any issues with the car *touch wood*. It really puts a smile on my face when I push that throttle, it goes like a bullet. I like everything about this car. The only drawback is service which is costlier than others around, it can be compromised for that hassle free ride.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Renault Pulse - Worth Every PennyI decided to go for Renault Pulse because this hatchback is compact in size which helps me to move easily and efficiently in city traffic. Generally, the cars of this compact size lead to a problem of low cargo space but despite that space is quite decent in the Pulse. The engine under the hood of Renault Pulse is performing very well with reasonable fuel economy figures which seem to be difficult to achieve with such a frugal engine response. With my driving experience, the Renault Pulse is an amazing hatchback which I love to drive and you will also love to drive. It is low to maintain as well and since it looks really macho it is a head turner on the roads. The after sales service is also good and I never faced any issues from my service centre. I had a good experience buying this car and using it has been a good experience too. Buy this car if you want a sturdy city car that could perform on the highway as well.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- My PulseI was looking for a small car which can easily negotiate the city traffic and has a reasonably powerful engine. After checking a lot of cars I decided to go for Renault Pulse because this hatchback is compact in size, which helps me to move easily and efficiently in city traffic. The engine of this car provides me with an adequate power to easily go for intercity travel daily. The looks are great and the car is also comfortable. It gives a decent mileage so is not quite heavy on my purse. This car does not disappoint you on any level since it looks good, has amazing features like automatic headlamps, smart lock system, trip computer, automatic air conditioning and a very good dashboard. I am really happy with this car and would recommend this to anyone who wants a good hatchback full of features at an affordable price and good after sales service.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Pulse - An Amazing CarI had driven my Pulse under varying conditions, village roads, hilly terrains, wet climatic conditions, extreme heat of north India but still I didn't face any issue. Very good power for overtaking and city driving, I usually get a mileage of 17kmpl with AC on and that's awesome. A family long drive is fun and without any hassles with this car. Finally, it's much better than the likes of Swift, Grand i10, Figo or Ritz. Go for this car and you will never regret your decision. Buy this amazing hatchback if you are looking for a premium car with features like automatic climate control, power windows, automatic headlamps, a great door lock system, a big boot space, a silent & well-insulated cabin, a well equipped dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, audio system, which is built in with CD player and radio with front speakers. I really liked the features and the interiors have been made really good in this new model of Pulse.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Renault Pulse - Simply the bestVery very happy. In our country most of the people buy cars with very establish brands like Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai etc., they don't easily buy new brands but believe me I don't know about other RENAULT brand cars but PULSE is truly made for India. It's perfect for a person who wants low maintenance and high performance. It is not only the most good looking hatchback in the segment but the recently updated interiors and all the new features that have been added to this car make it a premium car. I loved this car so much and even after having so many features, it was not harsh on my pocket and not once did I face any car or service related issues with the Pulse. It has been six months that I have been using the pulse and I am very satisfied with how it performs in the city as well as the highways. The 63 bhp engine is powerful and does not lag.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Best car for City and HighwayLook and Style: I don't say the car is too stylish when compared to Maruti and Hyundai. Comfort: I traveled with my family twice in 6 months to my native of around 800km. I never felt tired. Moreover, I speeded up to 130km/Hr on NH. I never felt any vibration inside the car. Pickup: This is my first car. I am feeling the Horsepower comparable to other diesel cars. Mileage: During purchase, it was 19km/hr. Now, it is close to one year, crossed 10k kms. I am getting 21km/hr which is near to the ARAI which claims 23km/hr. Best Features: Renault is providing extra features at this cost. It is not comparable with Nissan Micra too where the cost is more for the same feature. Needs to improve: Interior design needs to improve. Interior plastic parts to be rigid. Overall Experience: I felt it is very nice premium hatchback car with those features, there is no other car like this in this segment.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- The best car to haveIt has been a year now that I am using Renault Pulse and it has been a very good experience. I did not face any service issues or problems with my car. It looks well and it works well. This car has all the required features like ABS, EBD, brake assist, power windows and comfortable cabin. Although the main safety feature Airbags are missing but, apart from this, it has a great feature list. The seating comfortability is also good, it doesn't look cramped if 5 people are sitting in the car. It has great sufficient head and legroom to make you feel comfortable during the ride. The boot space is enough, the cabin is silent while driving, and even for a diesel car, it is not very loud. I like the pickup and handling of the car. The interiors could have been a little better but you cannot complain since they are quite decent. In its price range, pulse is a good car to go for and will be a reliable ride for a long time.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
