BMW X3 2025

Latest Update: BMW has unveiled the fourth-gen X3 SUV with a plug-in hybrid system.

Price: It is expected to have a starting price of Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine and Transmission: The upcoming BMW X3 gets a choice of four engine options:

• 30e xDrive plug-in hybrid: A 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with a plug-in hybrid system that generates 299 PS and 450 Nm. It can be charged using an 11 kW AC charger and has a pure-electric range of 81-90 km (WLTP-claimed).
• M50 xDrive: A 3-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine with a mild-hybrid 48V electric motor producing 398 PS and 540 Nm.
• 20 xDrive: A 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with a mild-hybrid 48V electric motor producing 208 PS and 330 Nm.
• 20d xDrive:  A 2-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine with a mild-hybrid 48V electric motor producing 197 PS and 400 Nm.

All these engines are mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that sends power to all the wheels.

Features: Globally, it gets a curved display setup that integrates the 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment system. It also gets 3-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, and ambient lighting with a welcome and goodbye animation. Its equipment set also includes a heads-up display, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.

Safety: In terms of safety, the SUV comes with multiple advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which include front collision warning, lane change warning, lane departure warning, and park assist with reversing assist as standard.

Rivals: The 2025 BMW X3 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5.
