Audi has revealed the first-ever teaser of the upcoming 2019 second-gen A1 hatchback. The new Audi A1 will debut in Barcelona in the coming weeks. The 2019 A1 is expected to be based on the VW Group’s MQB-A0 platform that it will share with cars such as the sixth-gen Polo and the T-Cross compact SUV, among others. Unlike the first-gen model, which was available with three- and five-door options, the new A1 will only be sold in a single five-door version. While the first-gen model never made it to India, the second-gen Audi A1 could be introduced in the Indian market as Audi India is reportedly planning on launching models below its present entry-level offerings - the A3 compact sedan and the Q3 compact SUV.
