Serious road presence. Massive size and great styling commands attention
3.0-litre diesel engine offers strong performance and good fuel efficiency. Powertrain is very usable for daily drives
Well-balanced on/off road behaviour and capability

Things We Don't Like

Transmission could do with smoother gear shifts under hard throttle and while engine braking
Cabin space, while generous, is not as good as it is in similarly priced luxury sedans
Expensive. Top-spec HSE (TDV6) costs Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom) and many must haves (cooled seats, massage seats, 4-zone climate control) are still left as optional extras

Interior, features and the Engine of the sports model is just what you need, a necessity, but if you are mileage freak sadly this is not your type. The Sports has a design smaller and sleeker than Evoque which makes this vehicle so much better when it comes to size and power.

Range Rover Sport Prices and Variants: The 2018 Range Rover Sport is available in five variants - S, SE, HSE, Autobiography Dynamic and SVR. The prices of the Land Rover SUV falls in the range of Rs 99.48 lakh - Rs 1.96 crore (ex-showroom).

Range Rover Sport Engine And Transmission: The Sport is available with four engine options, two each for petrol and diesel. While the petrol engine options include a 340PS 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine and a 524PS 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, the diesel options include a 258PS 3.0-litre V6 engine and a 340PS 4.4-litre V8 engine. All the engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and power is sent to all the four wheels via twin-speed transfer box.

Range Rover Sport Features: It gets an LED DRLs, Pixel LED headlamp, LED tail lamps, 10-inch Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with 825W Meridian surround sound system, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors.The safety features include 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, emergency brake assist, dynamic stability control, traction control, roll stability control, corner brake control, hill launch assist, hill descent control and all-terrain progress control.

Range Rover Competitors: It rivals with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Toyota Land Cruiser and the Maserati Levante.
