The Ertiga is based on Maruti's hot seller, the Swift. It is offered with two engine options - a 1.4 litre K-Series petrol engine and a 1.3 litre DDiS diesel mill. The Ertiga does feel like a grown up Swift, and it shares a lot in common with the hatchback. For example, the interiors including the steering wheel are identical on both cars with the only difference being the color. Inspite of it's size, the Ertiga is extremely easy (read: car like) to drive around the city as well as the highway. With prices starting at around 6 lakhs, the Ertiga one of the most versatile cars on sale today.
