BMW, the German luxury carmaker has recently launched the 5 Series facelift in the Indian car market, and it is also expected that the company could also introduce the new X5 crossover by the end of this year. It seems like BMW is aiming to refresh its entire lineup to compete against its two global competitors Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Meanwhile, the 2014 BMW X3 facelift has been spied, and the same is expected to make its way to India as well.
BMW launched the X3 crossover in India a couple of years back, and the time has come for a mid-cycle refresh. The spotted vehicle is partially camouflaged, providing that the vehicle gets some minute changes, which makes it look refresh. WorldCarFans has managed to click the black M Sport variant of the X3, which looks a little better than the regular silver car, but the design of the X3 is similar to its X1 and X5 siblings. The company is also planning to launch the X4, providing more options to buyers.
The spotted prototypes were partially camouflaged, as the bumpers, side sills and the area around the headlights were covered. We expect the facelifted X3 to retain the existing engine configurations, while the cabin could get some styling updates. It is also speculated that the 2014 BMW X3 will be showcased at the next month's Los Angeles Auto Show alongside 4 Series Convertible. It is quite early to comment when it will come to India, but considering BMW's aggressive product strategy, we expect it to come by early 2014.
