Delhi Auto Expo has an important place in the global automotive scenario and has its own place among global shows. Auto Expo 2010 has shown the progress and status of the automotive industry in the country. Delhi Auto Expo has developed its own brand among the peer shows such as Frankfurt, Tokyo, Detroit and Shanghai which is indicated by the fact that global automotive industry was interested in greater parting of dates between Detroit Auto Show and Delhi Auto Expo.
The success of the Auto Expo can be measured by different criteria such as the number of brands associated with the show, the number of cars displayed, number of global and country specific launches and most important visitor footfalls. Though the show had not only fulfilled these criteria but also had surpassed the exhibitor expectations. The auto expo set up required 125,000 sq meters of space. The show had seen more than 100 global and local launches, over 15 concepts and more than 1.2 million visitors.
Success can not be achieved without stepping on problems and Auto Expo 2010 also faced problems relating to parking, traffic management, entry etc and there were softer issued inside Of course, Auto Expo 2010 had issues relating to exhibition area, parking, traffic management, regulating entry and the number of visitors. There were also softer issues inside the venue. But beside these facts there is no doubt about the huge success achieved by the Auto Expo 2010.
