Force India announces F1 Team Academy

Force India has recently made an announcement about the launch of Force India F1 Team Academy. This F1 Team Academy will select lots of F1 race drivers across the country in age range of between 14 to 17 years. These all the selected drivers will be trained by the Academy and they will come as a National talent in the car racing stage to participate in championships. This India F1 team Academy will setup as a separate organisation which will push India's driving talent at international level.

The Academy will select these racers across the country and finally 14 drivers will come on the bench. These top 14 drivers will be selected as national finals. Meanwhile two wild cards will be added to the 98 that emerge from the seven rounds and 10 drivers will come from the hundred. Later then one driver will be stamped on which will run at the UK racing season and according to performance it will be selected in this Formula 1 race. One more racing driver will also be selected.

There is plan to include one in Indian National championship while second selected driver will be used at the Asian National championship as a full form competitor of another. So the strategy of F1 team Academy will be strong and well performer driver will come on the international bunch as a Indian talent.

The F1 Team Academy which is funded by Force India F1 will start its discovery for the Indian talent in first year and within 12 months they will chose one super performer among the one Billion Indians. Meanwhile Academy will launch its first activity on April 25, 2011 with name of ‘Hunt for 1 from a Billion, to search a future racing star across the country.

Dr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman & Team Principal, Force India Formula One Team commented on the launching of the Academy that it is another milestone in the Indian sports arena and Indian talent will get the chance to present itself on International level.
