Go Global Go Green thats what we hear these days from everyone. Starting from big corporate to a laymen everyone is concerned with the environmental issues. In this league automobile giants are not behind and major players like Toyota Motors, Honda, General Motors, Nissan Motors are coming with EVs and hybrid models in the market.

There has been loads of effort taken in this direction but coming with EVs and Hybrids is a bigger step towards the concern. Government, environmentalist and consumers are keen on the electric or battery operated cars which will reduce emissions and will be less congested. As per the speculation it is believed that the demand for the cars will increase with time. Carlos Ghosn the chief executive of Nissan-Renault has said that the sales of the hybrid will be 10 per cent of the world market.

The J D Power and associates, the research analyst hold a different opinion from the market preview. As per the researchers the demand will only see a hike of 7.3 per cent by 2020 of the world sales. It will not exceed against the fuel injected cars.

As per the study, the demand for Toyota Prius the hybrid model and Nissan Leaf will go to only 5.2 million in 2020 which is expected, by the companies, to reach to 70.9 million car sales.

As per him, the cars have essential changes, tax incentives, higher fuel efficiency, the reserachers are predicting that it won't prove to be a success in the market.

There are rigorous methods which are being taken by the government of Europe, China, Japan and US. They are financially aiding the projects to develop products to reduce emissions. The Obama government promised $11 billion in the taxpayer aid to fund Nissan, Ford Motor Co., Telsa Motors Inc and also to the other battery and car manufacturers who are planning electric car production.

China currently, has the power to give a hike to the electric wheelers by aggressively marketing and selling the auto mobile. It is speculated that demand will increase by 7.3 per cent if promoted by China. The hybrid and battery electric car sales can be 954,500 or 2.2 per cent in 2010 as per Westlake Village, California based company.
