Harman Introduces New JBL Autostage

Harman, the audio and infotainment system maker has launched a plug-and-play music system in the country known as JBL Autostage. The music system is offered with two Autostage packages Carstage and Sportstage priced at Rs 29,990 and Rs 34,990 respectively.

Now the similarity between these two music systems are that both offered with two front speakers, two rear speakers, two tweeters and one amplifier, while the difference between the two is that the Carstage is a 2000W setup while Sportstage is a 3000W setup. The music system can be used in cars from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Volkswagen, Skoda, Ford, along with other car manufacturers. 

On the launch JBL Autostage Mr M Lakshmi Narayan, Managing Director, HARMAN India said, "JBL Autostage is a revolutionary offering that displays HARMAN's commitment to providing innovative, affordable and high quality audio products that have been designed exclusively for the Indian market. In an industry first, Indian consumers will be able to upgrade their in-car audio experience with great ease both at the time of installation as well as at the time of payment."

To meet the growing demand, JBL has set up a new production facility at Bhiwandi in Maharashtra. The manufacturing facility of JBL can produce 50,000 units per annum which can be further extended to 150,000 units. 

Sahil Sani, CEO, Sahil International, Harman’s authorised sales and service partner in India, said, “With the launch of JBL Autostage, we aim to redefine the automotive audio category by launching a product that brings a premium sound experience to cars. We are confident that our new product range will resonate with our customers.”
