Honda to present its new small car in Delhi Auto show

Honda India one of the largest car manufacturer in India has announced yesterday that it will present its new small car model in Delhi Auto Show. This announcement came days after Toyota Motors' announcement that it would roll out a new small car model in the Delhi auto expo. In a statement given to the reporters, the company said that the Honda New Small Concept car has been specially developed for emerging markets like India. Though the company hasn't disclosed any other details of the vehicle but it is expected that the model will be launched in the same price range as the price range of Maruti Swift and Maruti Ritz. As the sales of automobiles in the developed nations has been slowed down, the car manufacturers around the world are focusing on India where the small car segment has a vast opportunity. Many major car manufacturers are coming with their small car models in this auto show. General Motors is coming with 1.2 ltr Chevrolet Beat which is a small car model and expected to be launched in the price range of Rs 3.5 to Rs 4.0 lakh. In the same range the Ford Motors India is coming with Ford Figo though no details of this model has been disclosed yet. The Volkswagen is coming with a small car named as Volkswagen Polo which is the first small car from Volkswagen In India.
