Sascha Simon, head of Sophisticated Item Arranging at Mercedes Benz USA said that the company has made the plans of launching B Class F Cell for 2015 in California, following to this launch will be “regular” sedan in 2017. Mercedes fuel cell automobiles look and feels like normal passenger automobiles which are attainable and so the Mercedes Fuel Cell Sedan has been transmitted from the source of E Class. The reason behind this is that the customers are more interested to know about the fuel cell vehicle rather than its shape or structure about which they already have knowledge. Simon explained that the company is not looking forward to sub- brand the fuel cell vehicles. The car will be converted into a fuel cell vehicle which will function typically like sedan cars, with Mercedes luxury filled with hydrogen.

Simon added in his statement that hydrogen fuel cell technology is potential to be considered over the inner combustion engine, as the technology is soon going to prove its potential in front of Electronic vehicles. Regardless of the view of Simon on the fuel cell engineering, Stephen Chu, Power Secretary is trying to bring around the federal government to be more lenient. Simon added later that these dats it is very easy to manufacture the fuel cell automobiles. The Obama Administration drop out a programme which was launched in the U.S. Government focusing on hydrogen fuel cell technology innovation and since then Chu had chosen to provide more efforts into EV and battery development. Mercedes Benz B-Class F-Cell 37 models are being leased to Southern California buyers and are also being served by the hydrogen fuel cell stations. But at the same time creating an infrastructure for the fuel cell automobile is still an obstacle because of the small interest of oil organizations for complimenting the present filling stations with hydrogen pumps.
