Only a year after its revival, the historic British brand Lister has released two sketches of their forthcoming 'hypercar.' The Lawrence Whittaker led company have announced plans to launch this high-end performance model in the near future, and currently looking for investors to get the project started.
Though the project is still at a very early stage, but the sketches of the conceptual model will be influenced by their own 'Storm' supercar, of which 90 were built for road use and a handful more for GT racing.
“Over the coming years our ambitions are to create a world beating brand new Hypercar with a list price of somewhere in the region of £2million. We are currently seeking external investors that have the desire to join us on what promises to be an incredible journey, because if we proceed with our ambitious plans, it is fundamental that the entire project is sufficiently resourced in order to deliver a serious, world-beating new product,” Whittaker said.
According to the company, the product will come with a heavy price sticker of about $3.2 million, and will rival the breed of world’s most potent supercars, such as those from Bugatti and Koenigsegg. It is expected that the hypercar will be powered by a massive V12 7.8-litre engine, rated at least up to 1,000 bhp, and a top speed of around 400 km/hr.
