Mahindra January 09 sells fall by 21%

According to announcement made by Mahindra Mahindra group the January 2009 sells dipped by 21.6% compared to the same period of last year. Company sold 7,611 vehicles in January 2009 compare to the 22,309 vehicles sold in January 2008.
However the company is performing very well in SUV's (sport utility vehicle) segment.Mahindra Xylo which company launched recently is receiving very good response. More then 1700 units of Mahindra Xylo has been sold since its launching.
Company had generated a lot of excitement before launching Mahindra Xylo and got the tremendous response after launching. The mounting sells of Mahindra Xylo will definitely contribute in rise in sells in Feb. 09.
