Mercedes-Benz E-Class Facelift Likely to Launch on June 25

Modified On Jun 13, 2013 09:26 AM By Vikas

Mercedes-Benz India that launched the compact luxury A-Class in India recently, is now planning to launch the E-Class facelift in the country on June 25th, our sources reveal. Since it will be a mid-life facelift of the car, there will only be major cosmetic changes, mechanically the car is expected to remain the same. However, top-of-the-line 350CDI trim might be discontinued.

In terms of looks, the car looks similar to that of the vehicle unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. Front fascia of the E-Class will have a new grille, new headlights with LED daytime running lamps and a few more changes, making it more aggressive than before. The bumper has also been re-designed. The most evident change in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan car is seen via the split headlamp assembly, which has now been integrated to form a single console that puts in some aggression to the otherwise classy design.

The new E-Class has also received some changes at the rear like revised tail lamp cluster and exhaust tips. Inside the cabin, there will be some design changes to the dashboard, steering wheel and control dials. If rumours are to be believed, there could also be an AMG variant of the car, however we are expecting that to happen later.

This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for all the latest news on updated E-Class. Cheers!
