Along with this, MG Motor India has announced a London trip and benefits worth Rs 4 lakh as benefits for 20 lucky Hector buyers for the time being

The petrol variants of the MG Hector and MG Hector Plus have received the E20 fuel compliance certificate from the Indian government and it is the second MG car after the MG Astor to have achieved this mandatory regulatory norm. Every petrol unit of the MG Hector manufactured after March 31, 2025 will be E20 compliant and prices remain unchanged. If you wonder why this is important and what are the key changes to the car, here’s a quick rundown for you.

    Why Is It Important?

The government now wants all petrol cars that are manufactured after April 1, 2025, to run on fuel that has 20 percent ethanol mixed in (called E20 fuel). Ethanol is cleaner and better for the environment, derived from sources like sugarcane, rice husk, and maise. It burns cleaner than petrol, helping reduce emissions and lowering India’s crude oil import costs.

By making the Hector E20-compatible, MG is making sure it follows the new rule and supports more pollution-free driving.
