Naomi Ishii - The new Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Mr. Naomi Ishii as their new managing director. The announcement took place yesterday and Naomi Ishii was handed the proposed appointment letter. The formal appointment of the new MD will be made at the meeting of the Board of Directors of TKM, scheduled on 6th Jan 2014.
Naomi Ishii has spent over 20 years at the Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in the Human Resources and Business Planning sectors. Most recently, he was serving as General Manager in TMC where he was responsible for the dealings in Product Business Planning divisions. His predecessor, Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, the current MD and CEO of TKM, will be moving back to Japan.
