New BMW showroom in Chennai

BMW India announced the opening of KUN Exclusive, its new showroom in Chennai. The new KUN Exclusive showroom is located at Express Avenue Mall, No 49, 50L Whites Road, Express Avenue and is headed by Ms. Vasanthi Bhupati, Director, KUN Exclusive.

Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “BMW is the most admired premium auto manufacturer and has continued to set new benchmarks in India. The new facility is not merely an extension of our operations in Chennai but is a firm commitment to serve our customers. Our partnership with KUN Exclusive will allow us to consistently expand and strengthen our position in not just an important market but also in the home of BMW Plant in India.”

Spread over an area of 3,014 sq ft, the design of the showroom is based upon Urban Street Display concept which is a signature BMW layout with sales lounges close to the display area. The showroom will display six cars. The showroom also features the vibrant Isetta bar, an inviting and engaging section where consultation can happen over a cup of coffee or a cold beverage.

“BMW India has set a decisive course in India by setting up BMW dealerships of international standards across all metropolitan centers of the country. We have set very high standards in service quality and customer care in India and our commitment to aggressively expand our operations in India will continue at a fast pace. By end of 2014, BMW India will aggressively expand its dealer network by increasing the number of sales outlets to 50 across major metropolitan centers and emerging markets from 37 at present.” Mr. Philipp von Sahr further added.

KUN Exclusive represents BMW in Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu as well as Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. In addition to the new showroom, KUN Exclusive has a dealership at GST Road in Chennai. For providing after-sales support to BMW customers, KUN Exclusive has two workshops located at GST Road and Ambattur. KUN Exclusive employees have received intense training in Sales, Service, Spare Parts and Business Systems to ensure customers receive best-in-class pre and post sales ownership experience. A team of sales and service engineers have also been trained at BMW’s training centers in Singapore, Malaysia and Germany.
