While both Hyundai hatchbacks might have Grand in their name, which one feels grand inside the cabin?

The recently launched Grand i10 Nios upped the premium quotient when compared to its previous-gen sibling, the Grand i10, which still happens to be on sale. But does it also offer more space inside the cabin? We took out our measuring tape to find out.

Let us first take a look at the actual dimensions of both cars.

The Grand i10 Nios offers better legroom, slightly better kneeroom and has a longer seat base in the front row. The cabin is also wider compared to the Grand i10, thus making it feel more spacious in the first row. The Grand i10 also has a few positives here as it offers better headroom, a wider seat base and a taller seat back.

Thus, passengers with longer legs will be more comfortable in the Grand i10 Nios while those with a taller upper body will find the Grand i10 to be a more comfortable space.

The Grand i10 Nios has more shoulder room as well as headroom while also boasting a longer seat base and a taller seat back. The Grand i10 offers better kneeroom and has a wider seat base as well.

Thus, the Grand i10 Nios will offer more space for taller passengers and better under thigh support on long journeys. The Grand i10 can seat three at the back more comfortably and will allow for passengers with long legs to be more comfortable due to the additional kneeroom on offer.

While the starting prices of the two are quite neck-and-neck, the top-end model of the Grand i10 Nios is more expensive than that of the Grand i10. This is because of the more premium quotient of the Grand i10 Nios and the added features it offers in the higher-end variants.
