The month June has been the balanced one for the Indian Automotive Industry despite a tough market condition. Where Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motors and Tata Motors inspected a rise in their numbers, GM, Ford and Honda Siel saw a decline. Segment B and B+ have once again dominated the market, Segment C too has been pretty good, while the Utility Vehicle on the whole continued to grow at a high pace.

-In the list of top 10 selling cars of the month, Maruti ruled the chart with five of its cars.
-Maruti Suzuki Alto has once again been the top selling car of the month.
-Hyundai i10 and Maruti Suzuki Omni which were in top 10 selling cars last month could not make it to the top tens of July.
-Tata Indica and Indigo range have been exceptional this month, and that helped them coming at no. 6 and 9 in the top 10 selling list.

-The one and only A-Segment Car, Tata Nano's sales stood at 5,485, higher by 68% as compared to July, Last year.

-The Segment B+ has once again been topped by Maruti Suzuki Swift with a total sales of 11,421 units, Tata Indica with a growth of 51% has been the other vehicle, that did great. Toyota Etios Liva saw a noticeable drop this month.

-Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Tata Motors Indigo Range have come out as the clear winners in the segment C. However the difference between the Dzire and Indigo in numbers is so huge, but it has been a personal gain for Tata Motors, Indigo range saw a growth of 40% if compared with the last year.

-Toyota Corolla/Altis has been the new segment topper this month, Chevrolet Cruze has been successful in maintaining its second rank, while the Skoda Laura/Octavia, the last month's leader of the segment has seen a huge drop.

-UV/MPV segment saw some serious ups and downs, the newly Launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has outpaced everyone in July including the market leader Toyota Innova.

-The Segment SUV still belongs to Mahindra & Mahindra, top 3 positions are grabbed by Mahindra Bolero, Scorpio and XUV500.
