These charging stations are installed in hotel chains such as Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Ginger and amã Stays & Trails, and can be accessed by guests staying at these hotels. The aim of this initiative is to make their venues more accessible and encouraging to those travelling by electric vehicles. While these chargers are unlikely to offer any sort of fast-charging capabilities, they’re still better solutions than a 15A socket with a very long extension cable.
IHCL plans to work more on its sustainability commitments for 2030 under Paathya and provide its guests with a more sustainable travel experience.
