I purchased tata Tiago Xe diesel version in April 2019 & Now it's running 11000 km within 6 months. This car is awesome under 6.5 lac budget with lots of features & mileage is superb in the city and 28+ on the highway. Its build quality is best and design are best in this segment. Service are also good. Service cost is too high in comparison with other models. Like similar if we will check with Maruti Baleno their service cost is 3500/Year and Tiago is having 6500/Year which is almost double. Tata has to work on service and after-sale both.Read More

I have been driving Tata Tiago XZA since October 2018. I was in Shimla till March 2019 and drove my car on hills, the car was fine till then as I never ran AC of the car but I shifted to plains in March 2019 and have to run my car with AC on. The car has started giving trouble. It becomes unstable in bumper to bumper traffic and often stalls. The economy of the car has dropped to 9-9.5 km/l. To my surprise, I was getting better mileage on the hills. There is a knocking sound coming from the engine during initial pickup (which goes away if the AC is off). Have informed the local authorized service station and all they have done is cleaned the air filter twice to improve average and pickup. They also insist on getting the car serviced (second paid service is due after 2000 km from now). Sometimes I feel that I have made the same mistake which my father did by buying Tata Indica, 12 years back. The service quality is still in bad shape. The technicians hardly are bothered and respond by statements like, "these 3 cylinder cars are crap". I feel like throwing the car away.Read More

Tata Tiago XZ, 24000 km and almost 3 years with only minor problems. Mostly normal service and regular maintenance. Very stable car with the best suspension in its class. The engine is noisy above 2000 rpm. Gear ratios are for better mileage so there is poor torque in 3rd gear for overtaking in city driving. Mileage is actually averaging around 15 km/l since the beginning as seen on the ODO. However, you have no reliability on the mileage readings. Recommend the car based on use and quality.Read More
