Latest Update: The Model Y has been spied undisguised again, this time revealing some of its interior bits.
Tesla Model Y Launch: Tesla is expected to launch the electric SUV in early 2022.
Tesla Model Y Price: It could be priced from Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Tesla Model Y Variants: Internationally, the electric SUV is sold in two variants: Long Range and Performance.
Tesla Model Y Seating Capacity: It can carry up to seven passengers.
Tesla Model Y Electric Motors And Range: Both the variants come with a dual-motor setup (one on each axle) with an all-wheel drivetrain. While the Long Range variant has a claimed range of 525km, the Performance variant can do 488km.
Tesla Model Y Features: In terms of features, the Model Y is equipped with a 15-inch tablet-like display which runs a host of controls of the electric SUV. Other features on board include 12-way power-adjustable (only at the front) and heated front and rear seats, panoramic glass roof, dual-zone climate control and wireless charging. The Model Y will also come with Tesla’s semi-autonomous Autopilot technology consisting of blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, front and rear sensors, adaptive cruise control, collision warning and emergency brake assist.
Tesla Model Y Rivals: Its only direct rival could be the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The Model Y could also be an alternative to the Jaguar I-Pace, BMW iX, Audi e-tron, and Mercedes-Benz EQC.
