I wish I had bought the Venue instead which was just launched. I didn't know how the petrol engine is in I20. Best hatchback till 2019. 2020 onwards the car is much better equipped and stylish. Plus the performance of I20 from my personal experience is not that great. It asks to drive calmly, sudden overtakes will need gear downshifts otherwise you can drive easily on lower power/torque during lower revs on higher gears eg 1.5rpm at 4th gear or 5th gear at a slow speed city bumper to bumper movement. The is definitely smooth and comfortable on bad roads and long drives.

    All-rounder Car.
    It's an all-rounder I would say it can go anywhere if the driver has courage I have driven it in mud snow and it went through like a star even on highways it's a good ride 220, torque really helps in overtaking, and breaking is also good but then tires also play a major role.

    Good Diesel Engine.
    Nice car with great built quality max mileage I get in the city with AC is about 14 to 13  highway mileage under 90 Km per hour is above 18 even with AC on service guys try to cheat you to change the clutch, brake pad before true wear and tear one issue is 1 & 2 gears seems very low powered in hilly regions service components are bit costly. This is about the diesel engine. I have run about 1lakh km in 6.5 years.
