This car is a tin can. Maruti understands the Indian market, so gives fuel economy, space, features etc but compromises on safety.

Best things in this car are mileage and cabin space. But grip and control on high speed feel unstable due to very lightweight. The sheet of the car is very light so in mild bump (collapse) car gets damaged. We have to shift our mileage mentality to safety. 

Poor braking. Never stopped on sudden braking. Put me on scares. I have a petrol car but the noise is that of a diesel car. Quite annoying.

Due to less wieght and light body sometime its hard to maintain balance on highways in high speed. break issues are there. Some shakyness is there while driving at a speed of above 100 kmph. In petrol engine.

Beleno is a fate very convenient vehicle for family use. Good mileage. Body condition is normal. Pickup is very usual. Not recommended in hills driving. Facility wise is good in top models.

This is one of the safest cars in its segment. This may be less wt metal but its frame is made of metal used in making planes. Its hard chassis is very much safer. The Best Car with so many safety and high-end features which no other cars offer in this segment.

Body is good and light weight. It uses special steel which gives same strength is low weight steel. Don't know why people are measuring car weight , are they also measuring weight of led tv with crt tv or weighing mobile phone weight. When the design is perfect accidents will be minimal I believe, and all cars with high safety specifications only scores in tests, Practically we need to see what is comfortable for our use and the place we live and not what in papers or what company promises, my opinion Baleno is an asset.

I own it for more than 2 and a half years and I am very happy with its performance. I also drove it for long drive tips where at 100+ speed as well I see it stable on road and flexible to handle.

The car is really awesome it is based on lightweight technology and body material is too soft so that it can absorb all the shock during an accident.

Have owned one for 3 years. Had major issues with ride quality and after 2 years all the 4 shocks and torsion arms were changed under warranty. Ride quality much better now but not great. I have driven this car 20000 km no problem, good pick up, average is 26 and above (speed 80 to 90 km/h) this is a not sports car this is truly a fuel efficient car.

I have been driving my Maruti Baleno Alpha petrol for a year now and have not faced any major issues, no doubt the rear suspension is a bit stiff, but I really feel it's a value for money car. After sales service should have been a bit better, as it's sold through NEXA

Build quality is poor after a year of owning zeta automatic rattling sounds and road noise Inside the cabin has increased. The surprising part is service guys says "it's common sir".

It is the safest car at its price. It has the Nexa tech body which is superb, also has pedestrian protection which is class leading. It also has dual airbags and list goes on and on.

Not worth the money company sacrificed safety by reducing weight just to have a better milaege i suggest not to buy this worst car idk why people are buying this car my choices 1)i20 2)swift go for this

Unsafe car from the biggest manufacturer. I don't know why they are making such a product like 800kg weight? Uber and ola should ban these unsafe cars from their list. Even they should concern about the passenger's safety.

I drove a Baleno in Dubai it has a great body strength and performance but the one in India all bad that you could imagine I got a dent since a man was leaning in it.

It's not a safe car, the body collapses like a matchbox. Pathetic body strength. Why such gimmick for India, where Maruti as a company is well accepted?
