Auto Expo 2020

The 15th edition of Auto Expo will be held from February 7 to 12 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Meanwhile, the Auto Expo Component 2020 will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from February 6 to 9.The Auto Expo is conducted every two years to showcase the automotive innovations. The 14th Auto Expo held in 2018 witnessed over 1 lakh visitors from more than 67 countries and participants from 20 countries. While the dates and venues have been announced, the list of participants are still yet to be announced. That said, a slew of all-electric and hybrid vehicles will be the main attraction at the upcoming expo. Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai and Kia are expected to turn up while Volkswagen and Skoda are likely to return to showcase their upcoming lineup based on the MQB-A0 IN platform. Another key subject of next year's Auto Expo would be the shift to cleaner fuels and the adoption of BS6 emission norms in India. Among new cars, we are likely to get a peek at the WagonR EV, the Renault Kwid Electric, Mahindra XUV300 EV as well as the Tata Alroz EV. Performance giants like Porsche might also use the platform to debut the all-electric Taycan. We might also see the upcoming subcompact SUV - the H2X - from Tata while Mahindra will debut the new Thar and Scorpio.
