How is the performance of Maruti Wagon R 2013-2022?

The WagonR is the third model in Maruti’s line-up to use the now- familiar K10 1.0-litre petrol engine with the typical three-cylinder in-line setup and isn’t quite as silent as the Beat’s four-cylinder engine. The Maruti WagonR performs well when it comes to drivability, the engine smoothens as the revs rise, however the engine get vocal when it nears the 6400rpm redline. The performance of the car is satisfactory as it have a 1.0-litre engine; you get continuous torque even on lower RPMs with a punchy mid-range. The vibration is an inherited issue with the 3-cylinder engines; however Maruti guys work hard on this and kept the NVH level low.   Maruti This engine loves to be revved and this gives the WagonR a sportiness that belies its functional character. The light body weight translates into an impressive power-to-weight ratio and you never feel there’s a shortage of power.     WagonR   The 5-speed manual gearbox is smooth and there is a little to no gear leg. On the whole, Maruti WagonR is a good performer, which makes it a good urban drive whereas its sporty character is a plus here. The WagonR LPG and WagonR CNG variants of the car churn out lesser power than the petrol versions of the car. The CNG variant churns out a maximum power output of 58bhp which is lesser than the 67bhp of petrol engine.
