Mercedes-Benz GLE Class comes in two diesel trims at present, the 350d and the 250d. The 350d, 3.0-litre mill comprises of 6-cylinders and 24-valves along with a displacement capacity of 2987cc. The motor is capable of delivering 258 bhp at 3400 rpm that results in a peak torque of 620 Nm at 1600 rpm. On the other hand, the 250d, 2.1-litre oil burner has a displacement capacity of 2143 cc. It can deliver a maximum power output of 204 bhp at 3800 rpm and a peak torque of 500 Nm between 1600-1800 rpm. Both the trims are mated to an all-new 9G-TRONIC 9-speed gearbox, that distributes the output to all four wheels.
