How is the performance of Renault Scala?

Renault Scala is a rebadged version of Nisaan Sunny, and houses the same mills, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel as well. Starting with the petrol engine, it is a 4 cylinder engine, 16-valve, twin-cam motor with a displacement of 1498cc. same as the Sunny, it also pulls from low speeds so well and have decent mid and top-end range, due to strong low ranges it become ideal for city drives. The engine response good when you start to accelerate it from low speeds the car. The XH2 1498cc petrol engine of the car cranks out 97.6bhp peak power at the rate of 6000 rpm together with 134Nm of crest torque without any hassle. On the other hand, diesel variant of the Scala comes equipped with 1.5-litre Renault K9K engine that would produce about 84.8bhp of maximum power along with 200Nm of peak torque. The engine has quite strong low and mid ranges, and performs well in top-end revs. Though the car have the same engines as Nissan Sunny but the Scala has got CVT transmission, which makes it perform way better than the Sunny in terms of drivability and fuel economy.     Scala
