Latest Update: DC Design founder, Dilip Chhabria, has been arrested over financing and forgery scams. The DC Avanti was priced at Rs 34.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It was offered with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that developed 250PS and 340Nm. This motor was coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission which sent power to its rear wheels. The Avanti had a 0-100kmph time of 6 seconds on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 200kmph.
