April 17, 2015: The year 2015 will witness the discontinuation of of Maruti Suzuki Ritz . Maruti sold 34,500 units of this vehicle in FY 2014-15, which is pretty low against the number other popular models churning out for the brand. This move of removing this model from the line up will make way for the under-development YRA. While, earlier Maruti Suzuki introduced the limited edition of its tall boy hatch Ritz christened as Ritz Elate and to lure more buyers, the company also offered a saving of Rs 65,000.
