The Mercedes GLC is precisely the sort of refined, comfortable and sophisticated family SUV that Mercedes should be making. It's large enough to cope with a small family, and frugal enough to deliver decent real-world running costs. I am?m going to miss it. Mileage: 7,500Economy: 42.0mpg After several years without a proper rival to the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, Mercedes plugged the gap with the GLC. This car?s predecessor, the GLK wasn't offered here, so the GLC has filled a yawning chasm in Mercedes UK's line-up. And the best news of all? It's done it while staying true to Mercedes? values.

Latest Update: Mercedes-Benz has launched the GLC Coupe facelift in India.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Price and Variants: It is priced between Rs 62.70 lakh and Rs 63.70 lakh (ex-showroom India). Mercedes-Benz offers the SUV in two variants: GLC300 and GLC300d.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Engine and Transmission: The facelifted SUV comes with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 258PS of power and 370Nm of torque. It also comes with a BS6-compliant a 2.0-litre diesel unit that makes 245PS and 500Nm. Both engines are offered with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Mercedes-Benz offers both variants of the GLC Coupe with its 4MATIC all-wheel drive drivetrain as standard.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Features: It gets updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, a redesigned front grille, revised front and rear bumpers, and a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels. Mercedes-Benz is also offering the GLC Coupe facelift with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 64 ambient lighting combinations, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with MBUX and Mercedes Me Connect car tech. Safety features include up to seven airbags, a 360-degree camera and parking assist.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Rivals: The updated GLC Coupe rivals the likes of the BMW X4, Audi Q5, Lexus NX, and the Porsche Macan.
