Christian von Koenigsegg, the founder of the Swedish company established the company in 1994 Koenigsegg Automotive AB falls under the free traded Swedish Public Company. Koenigsegg is also indulged in ?green technology? development programs which involves the CCXR ("Flower Power") flexfuel supercar. Along with this Koegnigsegg is also involved in developing programs for plug-in electric cars' systems as well as next generation combustion engine technologies. Back in 2009 the company was listed under the top ten most beautiful cars in history by Forbes.
Christian von koenigsegg drew the initial design of Koenigsegg, he then showed his sketches to David Crafoord, the Industrial Designer. Thereon David took the responsibility of giving the fishing touch to the sketches made by Koenigsegg and rolled out the final design. The iconic Koenigsegg badge was crafted by Jacob Laftman in 1994. The Badge was based on shield of the Koenigsegg family. Shield has been the pride of the Koenigsegg family ever since one of the family member was knighted by the German based Holy Roman Empire back in the 12 century.

The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 will make its debut on the Michelin stand at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed (26-29 June 2014). This festival happens in the United Kingdom. This is the world’s first ‘megacar’ will also make its UK dynamic debut as part of the Michelin Supercar Run at the Festival, making Goodwood the first time two One:1 models have appeared together anywhere in the world.
