Unique Blend Of Looks And Performance

Look and Style: Undoubtedly the best looking car in the segment in terms of exteriors and interiors, rear wheel adds an SUV look while big alloys give the attitude and stance of a premium car. A welcoming interior never lets you feel bored. Comfort: Stiff suspension so no need to worry about tarmac or broken roads. Big tyres and high ground clearance can let you go anywhere you want. But I was driving a sedan prior to that so the ride is a bit bumpy on an uneven road but that's not a bother, steering is a delight to play as it's a very sturdy unit and stays connected with the road giving you confidence in 3 digits speed. Seat cushion is best in class, head room is average, can be a problem if you are above 6 feet, gear shifting is a concern as it's not the smoothest shift among competitors. Pickup: A decent punch of pickup, no hassles while overtaking at all, given it's a very heavily built vehicle but even then it's good at gaining high speeds, again remember it's not a proper SUV so expect a little pickup but you will get more than sufficient. Mileage: A very decent 17 kmpl in local that too without service and on a normal ride, quite satisfactory. Best Features: Looks, tyres, alloys, ground clearance, mileage, different interiors and award winning MJD engine. Needs to improve: Airbags and ABS should be made standard across all variants. Overall Experience: Fine experience dealing with Fiat guys, have knowledge of the product.Read More

    Excellent Car With Family Needs

Look -This is what makes you to at least go and have a look at the car. The catchy wheel and the roof, mountings.  Comfort- Yes, in fact, good. They have increased the wheel size and ground clearance which really suits the vehicle as well as the ride. The vehicle does turn itself in sharp turns. Pickup- The one thing which is necessary and I find in this is a bit low but not bad. You would find this only at the time of overtaking but sufficient as it's a utility vehicle. Mileage- Petrol delivers decent 14-15 kmpl because of increased length and weight. It's okay with me. Best Features- Alloys as standard and spare wheel separated. Needs to improve - Power if possible. Try to launch it with TSI engine that would be fabulous. Overall Experience: Really good because it suits my needs. I have a family of 5 members and I am a surfer too so can fix my utilities on the rack. Yes, it might not be a real off-roader but it can attempt a little at least which is what I want.Read More

Old book With A New Cover

Look and Style: Fiat has just put a new cover on the Punto Evo and named it as Avventura, the CUV as they call looks good only in the picture but is a head turner in reality. The interiors of the car are much below Fiat standards (Cheap) the additional high terrain gauges are useless and look like those in a toy car, though the car is attractively priced it does not fit the off-roader image that Fiat is trying to create. Overall its a let down from Fiat. Comfort- Driver position is good but the rear seat is cramped. Pickup- Fiat is scared to go beyond its award-winning engine (which is in fact quite old now) this car definitely lacks power. Mileage: No comments Best Features: Nothing new just a Punto in a new cover Needs to improve: Everything Overall Experience: Someone at Fiat please wake up and realise that there is tough competition in the market and you need to come up with better products.Read More

    Test Drive Review Of Avventura

Look and Style- Full marks on look and style. The car really does look awesome. Comfort- Quiet comfortable Pickup- Not that great. Could have been better Mileage- N/A Best Features- The pricing is very competitive. Much below the Ecosport against which it competes. Also, they are giving alloy wheels in the basic model as well. That's a good one. Needs to improve- To open the boot one first needs to open the spare wheel mounted on the back and then open the boot. That's a bit tedious. Overall Experience- I test drove the Avventura and the Ecosport. And honestly, I found the Ecosport much better than Avventura in terms of build quality, driving experience, pick up and interiors. If you can push your budget by a lakh then please go for the Ecosport.Read More
