Feature Packed Hatch from Hyundai. Value for Money!
It has been almost 3 years since I started driving my Car. I have driven Close to 25000 Km. When the thought of buying a small hatch came to my mind, I was looking at Polo from the beginning. But Soon grand i10 was launched. Seeing the list of features that this less value car had to offer my mind started thinking whether I should go for Polo or not. When I went for the test drive, I literally fell for this car because of the Interior quality that it offered and also the features that it had. At this price point, no car was even close to this at that point of time. Even now when you compare the features it is way ahead, for Ex. the request sensors are there on both the door handles for Asta Trim. The much more premium sibling from Hyundai, Creta is only providing it on the driver side door handle even in the Top Trim. So far the overall experience with the car has been good. It's very easy to Drive, especially in City traffic. While driving on the highways you will feel a little lack of power when trying to overtake other vehicles. But I hardly do more than two highway trips per month and most of my driving is within the City limits and hence I am really happy with my Car. The ride quality at high speed is stable and confident. The refinement levels of the Petrol Engine is excellent. There is absolutely no noise or vibration when the car is idle. At times you will be in doubt whether the car is on or off especially in traffic signals. The Clutch is light and the Gearbox is smooth. Headroom is generous in front and cabin width is sufficient enough to prevent front seat occupants from elbowing each other. All round driver visibility is adequate, including rear vision when parking the Car even though the driver seating position is a bit on the lower side. The rear parking sensors provide audio feedback and work perfectly. Rear Seat is strictly for two adults. You can squeeze in 3 adults if they are lean. Rear legroom is adequate and the Rear Ac went preset in the car is really a good feature to have as it helps the back seat passengers to relax in the long highway drives during noon time. It doesn't mean that the AC is not powerful enough, but this feature compliments the AC performance. When the backseat is empty, you can shut the blower vents off which I think is a very thoughtful feature, but the same cannot be done in the case of front ac vents. For a car that is feature loaded you will definitely fell the absence of functions like speed sensing door locks, Distance to Empty Indicator and automatic climate control. Also I feel that the horn of the car is a little on the lower side. On an average, I am getting a mileage of around 12-15 Km/l which includes 90% city drives and the AC always turned on. Overall the car is a perfect small family car and you will never regret choosing this over the others.

    Good Car With Problems
I am not a rash driver. I take care of my vehicle well and ensure on time service. Highway mileage is good but city mileage goes for a toss. Sometimes I feel it has less powered motor especially uphill drive with A/C switched on. Suddenly on a fine day my car's A/C stopped working, this happened after 2 yr 4 months and 28000 KM of usage. I have an extended warranty from Hyundai for the third year but now they are not giving it for the A/C. I fail to understand why as it is an internal part. I like the interiors and build quality. Tyre quality which Hyundai provides is not up to the mark, tyres wear out a bit early. The car has a low ground clearance and does not go well with bumpy roads. Also, the suspension is bit hard. Certainly, with my experience with Grand i10 and Suzuki Swift, I am not a big fan of Grand i10. I would not recommend it to anybody. If you want peace of mind, go for Swift any day.

Premium hatchback car with stunning look in 6-7lakh on road
Based on my two months of driving Hyundai grand i10 Asta (O) version, I found it gives a feel of premium hatchback car with stunning look available today in the market in 6-7 lakhs onroad price segment. Its a comfortable 5 seater front wheel drive with enough boot space. Its perfect for a small family living in crowded city. The city mileage is around 11-12kmph with ac. Highway driving gave the mileage of 15-16 kmph. Handling in city and turning radius is superb due to its relatively smaller size. Exterior wise : Pure white colour with chrome finishing in door handles gives grand look.To have more safety and stylish appearance, the car is equipped with fog lights, headlights and taillights, along with wide tyres.Interior :Interior is built well. Features well in class quality and materials. Dashboard looks graceful and everything feels within reach. Rear ac vent is plus point. AC cooling is superb. Automatic climate control feature is missing. Leg space for rear seat spacing are quite comfortable as per hatchback segment is concerned. Five people can sit in hassle-free manner. Didn't get the reverse parking camera in my car. Position of gear is nearer to dashboard unlike other cars so it takes some time to adjust. Clutches are smooth which makes handling easier. Engine is quite silent. Has multiple storage option with nice safety feature as smart key with push button start/stop.Nice bluetooth enabled music system with decent bass and steering mounted controls. It comes with power steering.Safety wise it has dual airbags with ABS. EBD is missing. Fabric seats are comfortable.Luggage lamp is a useful feature. Reverse parking assisting sensors are handy in strict parking areas.Electric adjustable and foldable mirrors gives a premium feel. The car incorporates suitable Anti-Lock braking device to prevent skidding of vehicle. Other than this, child safety locks installed in Asta model assures proper safety of children while driving the car.Engine performance : Its a four cylinder engine with 81BHP power at 6000 rpm and 114Nm torque. This engine gives a decent sporty power and torque combo with nice pickup.Driving uphill was comfortable. Highway driving is fun with this. The car has not disappointed me yet. Even the gears switch smoothly and the handling is easy even for beginners. Suspension is good. Didn't give much jerking on off road driving. To conclude, it can be said like best thing about this model is its affordability in price. One can afford the feel of premium car and enjoy long drive in luxury car with your family by spending less. Its a nice option available in the market for middle class office going family guys. After sales service of hyundai is also nice. So far can't comment on the maintenance cost of the car but people say its affordable but a bit more than Maruti avg. yearly maintenance and service charges. My final ratings are OverallLooks - 4.2/5Performance - 4.1/5Space/Comfort - 4.2/5Fuel Economy - 3.8/5Value For Money - 4.4/5I highly recommend this affordable car for family looking for city driving with occasional highway driving.

    Its A Excellent Car
Awesome car pretty much satisfied with my first car, after all, it's my hard earned money I spent on a good product from Hyundai. Exterior Awesome looks best in Class. Looks even smaller with integrated tail lights. Looks smaller as it has 14" tyres with alloy wheels it even looks smaller and unfit. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interior fibre quality. Rear vent the first n the segment. The problem with low seating especially for taller guys like me. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent fuel economy, I have done 15k Km and I am getting 22Kmpl mileage in city conditions and 26Kmpl on the highways (make sure you drive as the gear shift suggests on display). Looses breath after 2.5K Rpm Average engine performance but 2nd best in class. 1st obviously goes to the Swift, unlike mileage. Smooth clutch. ABS work perfectly. Airbags give confidence. (I personally believe its like a 1 lakh life insurance) Gearbox is the best in class very smooth and operates best in class with long intervals. Ride Quality & Handling Excellent, brilliant construction

Economical Luxury Car, Best In Its Segment
Writing this review, after driving the car for around 1 year. I proudly own the Petrol-Magna variant of Hyundai Grand i10. Looks - One of the best in its segment. Mileage - I own a petrol version and completely satisfied (13-14 km/l in the city; 16-17 km/l on highways). Power/speed - Can easily groove through uphills, high speeds and excellent handling. Space - 5 adults with all the comfort. Features - Most impressive. Speakers sound loud enough, AC is powerful even in hot summer. Other features like fog lamps, electronically adjustable side mirrors makes it a complete package in this segment. Suspension - here the Hyundai has to do some work. Hyundai Service - Really satisfied. Awesome service. Long Distance Drive- Can be taken on long drives. Music System- Stylish and powerful Safety - Lacks airbags and ABS Cargo Space- 256 litres. Offers adequate boot space. Fitted with an automatic light which is much needed in every car. Concluding Words - Go for it with closed eyes, you won't get any better deal in this price segment. Best in performance, style, comfort, luxury and in every aspect.   ALL THE BEST AND THANK YOU!

User Review OF Hyundai i10 Grand Asta Petrol
I have been using Hyundai i10 Grand (Petrol) since May 2015, I bought it as soon as I reached India from an assignment as I had been researching car's when I was away and always zeroed down Hyundai Grand based on its performance as few of my friends already has different variants of it (my old car was really old). I wanted a hatchback as I drive mostly in the city, I was impressed with the car features and pricing and as I had previously owned 2 Hyundai cars I was aware of the performance and service provided by them.   I saw a lot of i10 Grand's in Europe and was already impressed with the looks and interiors though I had never driven one till I bought it, I believed on reviews from some of the owners and was very excited to own it.   Most of my friends asked me that I could have waited few months to get the new Honda Jazz or Ford Figo, my answer to them always was that if they can provide me with the same features and performance as Grand in the same (almost) price I would be happy to buy. I was not wrong as the car is excellent when you drive in city and much better when I am on the highway. Very low sound when you drive, no vibrations when on the highway (~100-120 kmph), excellent interior with rear sensor, retractable rear view mirrors (which becomes handy when driving in crowded city traffic). Plus the reason for choosing between Sportz and Asta was the steering mount controls which really puts the car as best in class and not to forget the rear AC vents which are a blessing in Indian summer. The boot space is also decent and usually fits everything for a small family vacation. The power to weight ratio is excellent which makes the drive more smooth. I recently took the car on hills and I had no complaints while driving it uphill. Most surprising was the mileage on the highway, I could easily get 18.5-19 kmpl when driving at a decent speed of 90-100, though in the city it would be normal around 14-15 kmpl based on driving conditions. Apart from all this, the service, as usual, is great from Hyundai. Though I would like to drive more than I really can from my home to office distance is less than 2 km (hence the petrol variant), but I still often drive around 500-600 km a month on weekend trips etc.   With the new variant with airbags, this becomes a very good buying option in its class when compared with other hatchbacks in India, although competition is stiff in this category but I feel Grand stands out to most of it rivals.   Overall I rated the car as 5 stars though my earlier car was a sedan and I miss the space in front seats which is something that I always knew when I decided to buy a hatchback.   The car is excellent in terms of performance, features, cost and satisfaction and would recommend anyone looking for a decent hatchback.

Excellent Features, Value For Money But Defective Engine
Good features, nice interiors, rear AC vents, Bluetooth music system, alloy wheels, ABS, dual airbags. Overall a good package. Mileage is decent i.e. 16kmpl with AC. Looks good albeit from the rear end. Good space for rear passengers. Low cabin noise. Steering could have been better. Music system turns off when you stop the engine, very annoying if  you just want to stop the engine but continue to listen to music.   However, all this would be useless if the engine is defective. The car that I bought has a defective engine which used to consume engine oil. Within two years the engine oil level dropped below low level on the engine dipstick. The service centre covered up this defect by offering free engine oil to ups. Upon enquiring about the issue claimed that there is no leakage, engine oil is topped up. When I confronted them that the engine is defective only then they agreed to repair. Overall a horrible experience. Even the Hyundai regional office Mumbai is not responding to these lapses. In short good car, value for money but only if the engine is not defective. Wouldn't recommend this car to anyone, horrible experience.

Grand i10: Its Really Grad From Hyundai
Grand i10 has stormed the hatchback market in India since its launch. I bought the car in the second year of launch as an anniversary edition and I am quite satisfied with its performance and the best part was the added features I got in this edition. The entry level hatch car is decent in terms of comfort and looks and as far as the price point is concerned. I chose the sports edition and very impressed with its stylish looks and upmarket interiors with facilities of touchscreen infotainment. Grand i10, is a hatchback which is quite spacious and with three adults travel made easy on the long route also with comfort feel having rear AC on in hot summers. Knee space was also pretty decent and not a major hindrance which is quite common in the smaller cars. Being a car enthusiast, I can pretty well state that the car is fair in terms of ride quality and handling. Right from the first test drive till today, I can say it could easily give Swift or Etios, a run for their money. But there are some weak points. The mileage is a bit less in comparison to other cars in the market in the city I hardly get 11-13 and on highway 13-15 at the max which is not good at all. I had esteem which gave me 17 on city and 20 on the highway.
