5th-Jan-2011: Hyundai has unveiled its concept MPV at Auto Expo that will eventually come out to be Innova’s rival and called it Hexa Space. This global MPV concept, Hexa Space will develop into 8-seater MPV and will be powered by a turbocharged 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. Earlier known by the codename HND-7, has a hexagon shape to maximize the space inside along with very unique sliding rear doors for easy entry and exit. The seating capacity in Hyundai Hexa Space is done by two rows of three slightly staggered seats at the front, and a conventional two-seat bench at the rear. The seats can be folded completely flat and turned in many configurations to aid comfort or storage space, as per the requirement.
