Latest Update: Hyundai has showcased the Ioniq 6 at the Auto Expo 2023.
Launch: The Ioniq 6 could be launched by April 2025.
Price: It could have an expected starting price of Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom).
Battery Pack and Range: The Ioniq 6 only comes with the bigger battery pack: 77.4kWh, which is available with a single motor in a two-wheel-drivetrain. This setup churns out 228PS and 350Nm and has a WLTP-claimed range of over 610km.
Features: Inside the Ioniq 6 you’ll see a 12.3-inch dual-integrated screen setup, connected car tech, an eight-speaker sound system by Bose with a subwoofer, and ambient lighting. It further gets V2L (vehicle to load), heads-up display and a wireless phone charger.
Safety: In terms of passenger safety, it has seven airbags and a full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) functionalities including lane keep and departure assist, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
Rivals: The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will take on the likes of the Tesla Model 3, Volkswagen ID.7 and BMW i4.
