Latest Update: Hyundai has announced that the Nexo, a fuel cell EV, will be on display at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Powertrain: It is powered by a 120kW motor (163PS/395Nm). The motor draws power from a fuel cell and battery combination with a combined capacity of 135kW.
Range: Hyundai’s fuel cell EV uses hydrogen fuel cells to power an electric motor. It has a range of over 600km on the WLTP test cycle in Europe. As per Hyundai, the Nexo could deliver over 1000km in India.
Features: The Nexo comes with heated and ventilated front seats, a sunroof, powered tailgate, a digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and wireless charging.
Safety: Hyundai offers the international-spec Nexo with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision assistance, and park assist.
Rivals: If launched here, the Nexo won’t have any direct rivals in India.

In America, it costs almost $58900(INR.40lakhs) mainly because of its hydrogen-powered engine. If they launch this hydrogen engine here in India, its sure that it'll fail in sales as even electric cars aren't being sold in India let alone would Hydrogen cars. The way they could sell it to the Indian customers is by giving a petrol engine itself instead of the hydrogen.Read More
